FINANCIAL UPDATE
Q3 | 24/25
January - March

Happy Spring! Thank you for taking the time to read through our Financial Quarterly Update for January through March of 2025. I hope that you have been finding the information helpful, encouraging and transparent. Over the past 14 months I have had the privilege of serving Bethany as the Director of Operations. During those months we have had ups and downs in terms of donations, but I am happy to say that things have been stabilizing and we have had more months on budget than below budget this fiscal. Thank you for your continued faithfulness in supporting what God is doing here at Bethany. As we look forward to our last 3 months of the fiscal year, I am confident that we will finish strong and am anticipating a small surplus that can be added to our reserve fund, which is much needed for any emergencies that may arise in the future. This is thanks to all of your generous donations as well as staff who have spent prudently and are currently under budget on expenses.
I encourage each of you to attend our upcoming Budget meeting on June 22nd at 12:15pm. During this meeting I will be presenting next year's budget for members to vote on, as well as highlighting many ways your donations have made an impact in our community this past year. I hope to see you there.
Kathleen Peirce,
Director of Operations

CHALLENGE
On March 16th Pastor Andrew Mills shared a sermon on greed, which is one of the deadly sins. In order to eliminate greed from our lives, we are called by God to be generous people. Our challenge for you is to reflect on the scripture shared during that sermon, let it transform your hearts, and consider memorizing your favorite verse.
“Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”
2 Corinthians 9:6-7
”Give freely and become more wealthy;
be stingy and lose everything.
The generous will prosper;
those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.”
Proverbs 11:24-25
