HOME CHURCH COORDINATOR


POSITION SUMMARY

The Home Church Coordinator supports home church leaders and participants by providing relational, spiritual, and administrative support. This role equips leaders, fosters healthy groups, and ensures alignment with the church’s discipleship goals, mission and vision

ACCOUNTABILITY

The Home Church Coordinator will report to the Lead Pastor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support Home Church Leaders

  • Meet with Home Church Leaders to provide connection, support, spiritual direction and encouragement. 

  • Provide support to Home Church Leaders for any administrative needs, such as room bookings or materials.

  • Equip leaders to create nurturing environments for faith and discipleship.

  • Create Home Church resources (e.g., Companion Guide) in collaboration with the Lead Pastor.

    Support Home Church Participants

  • Assign participants to appropriate home churches and effectively handle clashes.

  • Connect individuals with other ministries (Pastoral Care, Membership, Baptism, etc.).

  • Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve Home Church issues.

  • Coordinate with the Communications Director to promote home churches and ensure accurate communication.

    Administration

  • Track Home Church data, metrics, and maintain databases.

  • Work with the Director of Operations to ensure leaders are properly screened according to church policies.

Education & Experience

  • 2 years of ministry leadership (work or volunteer).

  • A college degree in Theology, Pastoral Care, Leadership, or equivalent experience would be an asset.

TERMS

  • Contract position till December 31, 2025, average 12 hours per week, paid hourly

  • Average weeks will be expected to be 12 hours per week.

  • In certain cases, hours may exceed 12 hours per week, by approval from the Lead Pastor only.
