Congratulations! You’re getting married! We look forward to assisting you with your special day. If you attend Bethany and are planning to have your wedding here at Bethany Church with one of our pastors officiating, here is some information that will be helpful in your preparations.
Both Pastor Larry and Pastor Bob are licensed to officiate wedding ceremonies. Please contact Angel at 905-937-5300 (x 201) or angel@bethanycc.ca as soon as possible to set your date with one of the pastors and coordinate the facility rentals for your big day!
If you are being married by one of the pastors at Bethany, you are required to complete private pre-marital counselling with the officiating pastor as well as attend the Marriage Preparation Course with other engaged couples. This course is designed for any engaged or pre-engaged couple who want to develop a strong foundation for a healthy and lasting marriage. This course happens every spring and is usually about 5 sessions in length. The cost is $125/couple for both private and group sessions. Once your date is set and the facilities are booked, you will begin to meet with Janet Cyr, Bethany’s Wedding Coordinator. Janet will meet with you regarding all the details including facility use, musicians, sound techs, PowerPoint, etc. If interested, she’s also available to help you plan your wedding reception, should you wish to hold it at Bethany–both the Gym and the Fireside Room (for smaller receptions) are available to rent.
