Young Adults

For young adults (18-30) at Bethany, we believe the best thing that we can do for you is to provide opportunities to develop authentic relationships that can help you take your next step in following Jesus. The primary way that we do this is by offering Life Teams.  It is in the context of a Life Team where you are able to wrestle with the sermon on a deeper level, share a meal, serve together, pray together, and challenge one another to take your next step in following Jesus.

We also believe in the value of participating in the larger community. Weekend services are intergenerational gatherings where we come together as the local church to sing, and are encouraged to take our next step in following Jesus through the teaching and it’s weekly challenge.

Lastly, we have a Monday night young adult gathering from 7-9 pm, from September-June at 235 Church St (downtown St. Catharines). Monday’s provide the opportunity to meet new folks, and invite friends, as we practice the basic rhythms of following Jesus; worship, sharing a meal, serving, and having discussions about faith, life, and how they intersect. If you are new to Bethany, Monday night is a great first step!!!

SUMMER

During the summer months the young adult community takes a more relaxed approach to getting together. This includes things like BBQ’S, campfires, chilling on a patio, and the like.

WINTER
Every winter the young adult community also takes time to have a weekend away. This may look a bit different each year, but what remains the same is it is always memorable!
