Support and Recovery
Serve With the Landing: Interested in engaging with grade 7-12 students about life, hurt, healing and freedom? The Landing is looking for mature leaders to help engage students in both large and small groups from a real-life perspective; facing the fears and hurts in life with the confidence that Jesus does bring hope and healing.

The Landing is a 52-week program based on the principles for a healthy, God-honouring life, found in the Beatitudes; and is set up to help students engage the hurts, habits, and hang-ups that keep them from experiencing closeness with Jesus. Because of the nature of this program, leaders are asked to make a year-long commitment which helps create the relational foundation so important to this ministry.

Leaders are also expected to be able to share from their own experiences the hurts, habits and hang-ups that have been part of their journey and how, as we’ve learned to give those over to Jesus, He is bringing healing and freedom. Leaders are not expected to be flawless or without struggle; the beauty of leading at The Landing comes from being able to express God’s power and help along our journey as a way to encourage students to accept Jesus’ freedom for themselves.
